Black screen on my macbook 2010!

here are the sumptoms:

black screen

turns on but with no chime

only turns on when plugged to mag battery

battery light is green

red light in audio jack

possible causes:

ive been using a battery from china which hasnt given me any problems for a year

my boyfriend confessed to spilling a "drop" of water on my keyboard. the keyboard was covered tgough, and he used the computer for a whole day after that and then the screen turned black

i made an app at the genious bar but i dont want to embarass myself if my computer is toast. i also attempted to connect my hdtv to it to try and move my files to my newer imac but had no luck :(
