iTunes verrry slow when in movies pane

I have about 150 movies in MP4 format, I only keep about 2 on my iPhone 5 at a time. When I am browsing movies to add, it locks up so slow and won't do a thing for about a full minute, then I can scroll some more, then it locks up again. I'm running 8 GB RAM, 100+ GB free space on harddrive, and nothing really else running at the time.
