Q: Itunes 11.1.3 for windows 7 not working

I have the same issue as the one mentioned on this page and have tried the solutions, but they have not worked for me.

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123

I've also looked at this long forum discussing the same issue, but it is about an older version of iTunes

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2770908?start=0&tstart=0

The same message still hangs on my launcher, "Accessing iTunes Store", for an indefinite amount of time and it doesn't change.ituneserror.PNG

I have installed itunes on a separate Windows Vista laptop, and it has the same issue.

The mulititude of proposed solutions in the aforementioned articles have not worked for me. What can I do, and any help is greatly appreciated

Windows 7, Windows 7 Pro, 32 bit

Doublechecking something. Are there any LSPs appearing in the Winsock tab of Autoruns? If so, what are their names?

Only Apple's Bonjour appears in the Winsock tab, nothing else.

    Many thanks.

The symptoms still suggest LSP trouble, so it's possible we're looking at damage to the key(s) rather than a conflict here. If that's what is afoot, we might be able to clear the key(s) manually.

Doublechecking. Have you tried wiclee's instructions from the following post?

I have tried both of the suggestions with the command prompt, to no avail.

Both the winsock reset and the flush dns have not worked.
I have let itunes load for the past half hour but it still says "Accessing iTunes Store..."

T'is be a very complicated issue.

Can you check something for me please? I'd like to try doing a "Run as administrator" on your iTunes.

    Quit iTunes first.

In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive you have your program files installed on.

If you have a 32-bit Windows, open the "Program files" folder.

If you have a 64-bit Windows, open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

    Open the "iTunes" folder.

Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "run as administrator".

Can you access the Store now?

(Permissions issues can sometimes mimic other problems ... if that's what is going on, the "Run as administrator" thing can sometimes get past the issue.)

Still no luck . I get the same stuck loading bar and I can't even sign into Apple ID. The box just disappears when I hit enter. Some people found a workaround by signing in before trying to access the store, but for me it is not working.
