My remote app for Apple TV won't scroll at all, on either my iPhone 5s or iPad2. The home home button works just fine, but that's not helpful when I can't choose which program I want to use.

What happens when trying to move around on the ATV using the remote app? Anything?
As I said, the home button works in the app works just fine. Also clicking on the remote to choose something on the ATV works. But it will not click and slide so that I can choose something. It's stuck on 'videos' and won't move.
I just realized my first sentence makes no sense. Sorry. I was trying to say that the home button on the app works, but not the click and slide option. So the app is partially working.
I have had this same issue intermittently for months. It has been working until the other day when, after using it for 20 minutes or so, the ability to swipe/drag/scroll stopped. I can still use the MENU (home) button and it will recognize taps on the direction pad area, just no swiping movements. Deleting and reloading the app does not fix the issue.
Should I reboot Apple TV???
