Numbers 3.0 formatting texts in multiple cells?

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea of how to format the texts in multiple cells? It used to be "selecting cells and formatting (such as italicize)", but now I have choose "text" in the cell rather than a "cell."

How can I change the format of the text in multiple cells?

Thanks.

Hi ssooli,

Start with this, placeholder text within a cell (option enter to create a new line witihn a cell).

Then double click within that cell and Format Inspector > Text > Bullets & Lists > Text Bullets:

Bullets & Lists is greyed out until you double click in a cell.

Then drag the yellow Fill Handle (bottom middle) down to fill that format (and cell contents) down.

It seems we must format the cells before replacing the placeholder text with real data. Perhaps there is a way to format with bullets after entering data, but I have not discovered how.

Ian.
