Use Apple 30" display with New Mac Pro?

I am planning on getting the new Mac Pro (Dec 2013 model). I currently have a 30" Apple dispay (DVI) and wondered if I can use it with the new Mac Pro. Will the Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter work to connect them? It seems the Mac Pro only has HDMI and Thunderbolt output.

As the new Mac Pro has not been released yet, it's impossible to get an exact answer.

The problem of the new Mac Pro is that it comes with Thunderbolt 2. Theoretically, and looking at other Macs with Thunderbolt and external drives, the adapter should make the display work. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5219?viewlocale=en_US#11
