Because YM is your only problem, see Messenger for Mac Help for application specific help.

hi there, i noticed you are having the exact same issue i am with yahoo instant messenger -- it won't recognize my cam on my new macbook air. curious to hear if you found a solution? my specs are the same as yours. thanks!
