Q: personal hotspot sometimes working ios7

Hi, I have a weird issue. I have iphone 4 with FW version 7.0.4.

 

When I want to use personal hotspot over cable with my work computer, it doesn't work at all. I was using my phones internet over another PC again from my work with the same restrictions and I had no troubles. When I want to do it over wifi, it "sometimes" works. Really, I have to turn off personal hotspot and on several times, turn on and off wifi, in the end I don't really know what happens but I can use personal hotspot.

    Hello Matt,

     

    First of all thank you for your reply, butI think there is a misunderstanding over here. I am already doing what is said in yout troubleshooting guide. Cable personal hotspot is not working at all, thhus I am using wifi. Wifi is not recognised, thhus I turn off and on the personal hotspot for few times.

     

    However, I don't want to do all these steps every time I want to get my PC connected to internet. The same SIM card, the same device, the same operator and the same number was working completely fine one year ago. What have changed is the ios version.

     

    I wouldn't like to believe that it would be cool for apple that getting personal hotspot operational takes over 2-3 minutes and needs me to turn on and off menu settings for, I don't know haw many, times.

     

    Thus, if you can offer me some other customer friendly way to solve this issue, I will be very very glad to hear.
