Dec 1, 2013 8:54 AM in response to NewbieNeedaDoobieby King_Penguin,As far as I know debit cards are no longer accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined. Do you have a credit card that you could use instead ?

Dec 1, 2013 10:18 AM in response to King_Penguinby NewbieNeedaDoobie,I don't use credit cards, why pay interest on my money, I use card linked to check, it's better than credit card, they don't need money to use credit card, you need money to use debit card, y'all got business backwards lol. Guess I don't need to make no more purchases with money I have when I can charge it on an account that has no money, then stiff the credit card , file bankruptcy or something so my purchases cost nothing, sorry, I'm rambling and repeating, just seems some things are just mixed up.

Dec 1, 2013 10:38 AM in response to NewbieNeedaDoobieby King_Penguin,I have no idea what your post is supposed to mean, but I haven't got any 'business backwards' - whether Apple (I'm a fellow user) no longer accept debit cards is possibly because they aren't considered as safe as credit cards.

Dec 1, 2013 10:54 AM in response to King_Penguinby NewbieNeedaDoobie,All I'm saying is its bad business to accept payment from a card that has no money in account but refuse a card that takes the money directly out account, no guarantee that credit card will get paid off, but a debit takes out of account now, it's not a promisary note, it's good as gold, credit card is an I O U , debit card is payment. Silly to imbrace credit and turn down immediate payment.

Dec 1, 2013 11:20 AM in response to NewbieNeedaDoobieby King_Penguin,One risk with debit cards is that if the card is stored on your account and somebody gets access to your account and password then they could potentially empty your bank account. With credit cards, as well as generally having purchase protection, you are limited up to your card's limit
