Q: I have an appleID from years ago....

I no longer have the email address, nor can I remember the security Qs. Now. This might sound silly to people now, but I sort of remember at the time being offended at having to give all this private information simply to purchase some songs so I gave some fake birthdate too. Yep.

like 01-01-01, because I was thinking, they don't need to know all this STUFF about me, I just want to buy some songs. I was imagining a supermarket asking for all of my private information, before allowing me through the checkout. I had no idea at the time that they locked up everything and didn't allow you to even play it on anything else.

fastforward, years later, many compauters later and several email addresses later. I also have a different appleID. (I got an ipod, and signed back up at the Itunes store- couldn't remember my old info so I simply started a new ID.)

I have found an external harddrive that I stored all of my old purchases on, from my first appleID...including, most importantly to me, many audiobooks, which are $pendy. I'd like to listen to them again.

Are they lost forver? Can I prove to miscrosft that I'm the same person, since i do still have the same paypal account it was linked to, years ago, and paid for purchases with? Is it even worth bothering with?

I cannot even get past the birthdate point to see if i can answer the security questions. because the birthdate is wrong.
