how to save edited clips into the entire video?

I was recording a video for my channel, and I accidentaly said the word 'fa**ot', and theres no way I was gonna upload that, so I decided to edit the video on iMovie. I moved about 10 seconds of the video and censored about 1 second, bleeping over the offensive word. However, the edited clip is just 10 seconds of the video, the original video (about 3:45) still has the swear in it. How do I move the edited clip with the censor into the original movie?
