Tried to update Apple TV software
Tried to update Apple TV software and it has been unresponsive since for the last 36 hours. Thoughts please?

More details. Just keeps blinking and nothing is on the screen. After holding the menu button down and unplugging it, a symbol looking like a plug into iTunes showed up, but I do. Not have the right cord. It never gave me the option not to do the download as others have reported.
