Dec 1, 2013 2:40 PM in response to Amylarue1981by Alfred DeRose,Are you perhaps syncing to to different services? Ofr example to Google or an Exchange account and to iCloud?
If not, you can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

Dec 1, 2013 4:24 PM in response to Amylarue1981by Alfred DeRose,Google removed Exchange support for standard (unpaid) accounts in January of 2013. If you think you are still using it, perhaps that is why you see this issue. Standard accounts must use CalDav and CardDav to sync calendar and contacts.
