my wife and I have a iPhone, when I send her a text it goes thru but also bumps back to me. I created a iCloud with her name on but still have same problem, please advise-

Q: new iCloud account for new iPhone
What account is logged in on it in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on the phone, and what email accounts are listed there ?
