Windows Phone Nokia Lumia Picture Transfers

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. I am considering buying the Nokia Lumia 1020, and I was wondering if anyone here can tell me does the 35MP pictures the 1020 takes act as a RAW file into Aperture?

Howdy.

I don't yet have RAW/DNG support in my 1020, but I downloaded couple of examples Nokia provides, and at least my Aperture v3.4.5 with Camera Raw 4.07 does not support those files. They show as "Unsupported Image Format". (I tried downgrading Digital Camera Raw support package due to having issues with Nikon RAW (NEF) files but with no luck so I do not have the absolutely latest RAW support at the moment).

Maybe someone with access to later version of Aperture and Digital Camera Raw could try those files...here you can find a page that has links to the skydrive folder:

The regular 5MP and 34/38MP JPG files work fine with Aperture, but they are not RAW images if that is what you are looking for....

Hi,

Sorry about not explaining the link location better...

Underneath the image is a link to download location:

Select more than one file and download the created zip-file to your computer.

Inside the zip you find the .dng files.

I did it like that and did not notice that if you download an individual file it gives it with an .tif extension...
