My Mini IPad was working last night and then this morning it was hot and would not come on. I unplugged it and it still will not come on.

Assuming that it has cooled off by now, try a reset, hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons and see if it starts up.
Where is the reset button? The home button is on top right? I have never had to do this before...and I have never touched the reset button. (smile) Thank you.

I know where the off and on button is the high and low volumne button and the home button on the top...but my screen is totally black so there is nothing else. So how do I reset?
