Q: my son forgot his password, we never downloaded his information on the computer. I went to the apple store and they told me how to restore it but it is not working HELP

my son forgot his password, we never dowloaded his phone to itunes. I went to the apple store and they told me what to do but now it will not retore it. i keep getting a error code 3194 or this device isn't eligible for the requested build

Sounds like your son also hacked or jailbroke his iPhone.

That error means that either you are trying to restore a version of iOS other than the current version (7.0.4) or that the phone was jailbroken. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4451
