Q: Today I noticed that hundreds of pictures in My Photo Stream were GONE.

Today i was looking in my photo stream and noticed that only about 111 pictures of my 600+ pictures on there. IDK where the rest went or how to get them back. I didn't delete them and this is the first time I have seen this happen. Where did they go? I have had this phone for over a year and this has never happened. there are pictures on there dating back to September but nothing prior to that.

Check this support document for information about Photostream. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486

My understanding is this is temporary storage and will only keep up to 1000 pictures, and only less than 30 days old.

There weren't more than 600 pictures on there and if it only stores them for 30 days why do i still have pictures on there that I took in september?????

I do not use Photo Stream, so I provided you with a support document about it. I'm only relating what I am aware of at this point. If that support document cannot help, then I suggest the user Guide, or you can wait for someone else that uses Photo Stream to try and answer your question. http://manuals.info.apple.com/MANUALS/1000/MA1565/en_US/iphone_user_guide.pdf
