Dec 1, 2013 6:45 PM in response to NeilW83by Bob Timmons,Your profile indicates that you are using Lion (10.7.4), but the information in your post indicates that you are likely using Mavericks....since this is a common bug with (10.9).
If that is the case, try restart your Mac, then temporarily connect an Ethernet cable from your Mac to the LAN <-> port on the Express to see if AirPort Utility can see the Express that way.
If it can, keep the Ethernet cable connected until the settings have been updated on the Express, then disconnect the Ethernet cable.
