I can't find the system profiler in maverick I could find it my other OS. I have a problem and the third party wants me to send the system profiler.
How do I locate it on maverick.
Thank you

Thank you, but this gives me the same info if I click the apple logo and go into system info.
I need the system profiler report that I use to be able to retrieve and send it out with the ext.spx

Yes. Go to the File menu and choose Save... or type command-S for an .spx file. Alternatively, you can type
system_profiler
and press return in Terminal to get a plain text report.
More options are here:
Try holding down the option key when you go to the Apple menu. It is a shortcut that bypasses having to click "More info..." in the "About This Mac" window & then having to click the "System Report..." button in that window.
Thank you so much for info, it is interesting how some of these change with different OS. I don't have any idea how some of you folks know all this info so quick about the new OS

It helps to have a lot of free time to experiment & especially to read about what others have already discovered. 🙂
That's why I participate in forums like this one. There is always something new to learn, even when I know (or think I know) something about an issue somebody is having.
