IPOD touch (4th gen)

First try charging it for 15 minutes to make sure the battery is not empty. 2nd Try to press the lock screen button located up corner the iPod to make sure it doesn't shut down or off. If the following doesn't work, it means there's some damage to your iPod. If all of this step doesn't work, then bring it to apple service center as quick as possible as they will charge u money if the iPod is not under warranty.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
