Q: my ipod touch 4th gen will not play video recorded on my ipad mini camera

Recorded a storm on my ipad mini, but when i tried to sync it to my ipod touch 4th gen a message came up saying that my ipod was unable to play video as it was not compatable. anyone know why????????

iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod
You may need a third-party program like the free HandBrake to convert the format.
