If your camera is listed here OS X Mavericks: Supported digital camera RAW formats then it is supported.
If not only Apple knows when a specific camera will be added and they never give oit that information before hand.

The Df is such a new camera that neither Aperture nor Lightroom support its raw files yet, so for the time being you should probably shoot RAW+JPG.
How do you like your Df? I want one to match my old FE!
oh, alright. that's useful. cheers!
oh, yeah. so am i be able to view my unsupported raw file after apple updated aperture? or the photo just can't be use permanently?
it's a lovely camera, i'm pretty sure it matches your old FE hah. thanks by the way!
Once Apple adds raw support, which will probably come in a Camera Raw system update rather than an Aperture update, the raw files should just start working. For the time being, configure your camera to shoot RAW+JPEG and then, in Aperture, select your imported photos and choose "Use JPEG as original" from the Photo menu. Or something like that. Later you can change it back to "Use raw as original".
Very jealous of your new camera!
Come to think of it, you can also specify which to use as the original (RAW or JPEG) during import.
i see.. but i've a question, how do i change it back to raw after that in aperture? is it on the menu?
don't be đ
If you select a RAW+JPEG pair in Aperture which has the JPEG set as the Original, select Photos > Use RAW as Original to set it back. It's the same menu item as Use JPEG as Original, but the wording changes based on what's selected.
alright, now i fully understand! thank you mark i appreciate that. cheers!
