ipad mini (with retina) carrier

Hi all,

I just bought mini retina (wifi+cellular, verizon model) from apple store.

Is there any difference between each carrier model?

I was wondering if I can put any sim card into ipad mini or not, like a at&t or t-mobile sim card.

If it is not, what is the best model to use any sim card?
