I use USB flash drives a lot. I don't save a lot of stuff on my computer, do I still need to upgrade to a 8GB memory for Mac book pro.

I am interested in purchasing a mac book pro. I am not sure if I want to upgrade to a 8GB memory. I save everything I have onto a USB flash drive. What will be the benefit of upgrading?

Your memory (RAM) has nothing to do with storage, but is used when running programs and doing other things.

When you're looking for storage you want to look at the Hard Drive. Unless you're getting a SSD, you should be able to select at least 500GB of storage.

You will not need to save everything on a flash drive, chances are your Hard Drive will have 30 times more space.
