mac os mavericks

hey guys, so i ran an application scratch live for my djing purposes and never had any dropouts with my macbook until i updated to mac os x maverick... every now and then i get a dropout, is there something running in the background now that i don't know about that's causing these dropouts in my dj program? what would be the fix for my issue like this? never had any previous problems before..


have late 2008 november macbook

4gb ram

500 gb hard drive with 143 gb hard drive space

internal hard drive

i guess it runs now as 64 bit? used to run as 32 bit before the update..

it's allways been compatible before guys in the previous operating systems and no there is no new updates on the dj program itself... it was an upgrade from the mac store as well too... where's this roaring apps thing u talk about? thanks a bunch guys!


no other anti virus software installed guys


program is serato running scratchlive...

You should pay more attention to the manufacturer, it is neither supported or recommended, especially NOT recommended for use in performance.


We don't anticipate any issues with Serato software and OS X 10.9, but we won't be able to officially support it until we can complete full and proper testing. As we haven't been able to start this testing until the full public version was released, official support will not be immediate. We are unable to give a timeframe for official support at this time.

We are happy for users to test our software on OS X 10.9, but suggest it not be used in performance situations until we are certain of its reliability. If you do experience issues with Serato software when using OS X 10.9 Mavericks, please open a help request to report all the details.

I'd stop using it, your clients deserve more than a dj with an unreliable rig, don't they?
