Dec 2, 2013 12:16 PM in response to Madlion78by varjak paw,If you didn't use a service that provides tracking, then you may well be out of luck, but call the carrier you used and ask if they have any way to trace the package. There is no other way you, or anyone else, could trace it.
Regards.

Dec 2, 2013 12:24 PM in response to varjak pawby Madlion78,Hello Varjak Paw,
I am so happy I got an answer back so fast. Thank you for your time and advice. My friend contacted this carrier and unfortunatelly they said that they do not guarantee and thats it. I guess I am out of luck and not clever and myabe unrealistic when I hopped that if the phone would be turned on, and maybe a seeling code or something would be able at least to track the switched on device. My imagination goes too far saddly.
Thank you anyway for your respond.

Dec 2, 2013 12:31 PM in response to Madlion78by varjak paw,★HelpfulSorry, but the only tracking mechanism Apple provides is Find My iPhone, and that needs to be set up on the iPhone. Some cell carriers offer tracking for lost phones, but only if the phone was turned on and activated with the cell network, and if you never signed up with the carrier I doubt very much that they'd help you.
As you've learned the hard way, shipping any costly or precious item with a carrier that doesn't provide insurance against loss and tracking services is a very bad idea. I'm afraid that you'll just have to write this off as a rather expensive life lessong.
Regards.
