FCP 7 simply quit performing audio render. One minute it worked and the next it didn't (either with keyboard command or dropdown menu). I can still get audio rendered by using the render all audio drop down menu but it's much more time consuming to do the dropdown menu.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
And can't you customize your keyboard to perform this action? Haven't tried it, but I think you can assign any menu item to a keyboard item,. Tools: keyboard layout: customize
by any chance are you working with mp3's or another unfriendly format? Audio should be 48k 16 bit aiffs or wavs. Using anything else could cause issues.
Thank you both much for the assistance. Trashing preferences solved the problem. And I do use a lot of MP3 files. I'll check into issues with this.
