Osi update for older version iPad

I have an older iPad, my osi version is 5.1.1 my apps are asking for an updated version to work now. How do I get an updated osi? My software update says this version is it? Help

If you have an iPad 1, iOS 5.1.1 is the highest possible.

You can't. IOS 5.1.1 is the last and final update for the original iPad 1.

You mean iOS.

If you have a 1st generation iPad, iOS 5.1.1 is the end of the line. Model Identifier Utility
