Can I use a debit card as a payment method?
This is the only method I have available to do any charges.

As far as I know debit cards are no longer accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined. You can try adding it to your account, but I don't think that it will be accepted.
