Hi any ideas how to get the serial number of an iPod Touch 4th Generation without the device being present or having the box! My son has recently lost his and I need it to make a claim. Thanks

If the iPod was synched to your computer, launch iTunes, go to the Preferences, select Devices, and hover your cursor over the backup file for the iPod. That should show you the serial number.
