How do I block junk mail

Nothing can be done from within the mail app. You'll need to deal with your mail provider, most likely via their web interface.

Unfortunately, if your address is out there, getting back is almost impossible. Once it's on a spam list, no matter how many you block or filter the list just passes from spammer to spammer.

I use a program called SpamSieve 2.9.11. You should check your mail program, too. If you use Apple Mail, then it has its own built-in junk mail filter.

Kappy, your recommendations would be for a Mac, not an iOS device, right?

Yep. I don't think there is anything for use on the iDevice itself.

To block junk email. First you delete it by using trash. Go to the trash mailbox , press edit, tap the ones you want to junk, tap move, tap junk.
