Hey guys, I bought a 2008ish macbook today (bargain), but have realised i cannot install the latest flash player on the notebook using its current OS, will purchasing snow leopard solve this problem? (i know.... i know probably a stupid question) but i want to catch up on eastenders!!

Yes, though there is a version of flash player available for Leopard. The version would be Flash Player 10.3.183.90. However, upgrading to Snow Leopard would support the latest version (11.9.900.152) of Flash Player. See:
