iTunes choses which album cover of an artist is displayed:
How can I change these pics to display another album cover of that artist (the pics I want)?

Right click->Get Info on the album, select the "info" tab, check the "Artwork" box at the lower right, and drag a new picture into it.

My question concerned the "Artists" view.
Did you mean right click on the left small picture (where the artists are listed)
or on an album on the right side (where the tracks are listed)?
In both cases I'm afraid I could change multiple albums' pictures =
lose pictures of other albums. 😕 (Have you tried this???)
I just wanted to change the picture on the left side representing
an artist's repertoire which is not always representative/characteristic
when selected "automatically" by iTunes.
How can I get other album pics?
