Q: iphoto missing all pics

iphoto 7.1.5 all photos, thumbnails are missing. I had over 20 thousand photos in my library all of which are missing. Has anyone every had this problem?

G5 Power PC, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Restore from your back up is the obvious solution.
