the text on my macbook air is too light
I have a MacBook Pro as well But on the MacBook Air, the text is often too light to be read easily..
The App Store is particularly bad.

For many programs such as Word, I have magnification set automatically. For the browsers I set the minimum font size to 14 pts. But some programs don't have any setting to increase the font size. The App store is a good example. Use Feedback to complain to Apple.
