Sharing media across different networks?

I have my itunes account on a pc and my wife's on a macbook pro. I would ultimately like to add media to the itunes library on the pc and have it available to her while she is traveling. The computers will not be on the same wireless network for sharing.

Also, if it would make it easier, I can delete my account and install/ log in with her on the pc. If this is the route to take I need some instruction with this too. When I did it it changed for the store but not the library and I couldn't figure out how to use iCloud to share the files. I am currently trying to do this with digital copy movies (MP4 format).
