samsung printer driver ml-2570

Hi all.

I need a driver for my printer (samsung ML 2570N) which works under 10.9 mavericks...

There is only an old version available, which does not work with mavericks..

I have a time machine backup -10.6 with working printer- and tried to copy the library/printer folder, but there is no way to choose my printer. The list doesn't contain it... 😟

Do I forget anything?

Thanks in advance.

You'll also want to copy the Samsung ppd from /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources.

And to make sure, you copied the Samsung folder from /Library/Printers/, correct?

This may still not work since your printer is not shown as supported on 10.9 (either by Ssamsung or Gutenprint). As a last resort, you could try the 2580 driver if Samsung does not plan to support this printer.

Hope this helps.
