Macbook monitor goes black, tilt the machine and the monitor comes back on. Is there a fix for this?

Macbook monitor turns black, when you tilt the marchine the monitor comes back on. This happens a lot, so is there a fix?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.3)
