I would be concerned too if the fans on my MacBook were running full speed. Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) addresses this specific issue:

Fans
The computer's fans run at high speed although the computer is not experiencing heavy usage and is properly ventilated.
Reset the SMC on your MacBook using these steps:

- Shut down the computer.
- Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
- Remove the battery.
- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
- Release the power button.
- Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
- Press the power button to turn on the computer.
