Q: Changing iCloud account

My company purchase a few iPads for our sales staff. A sales person has left but his company account is still linked with iCloud. He dosen't remember his password, therefore I can't unlink his account from iCloud. I've tried the "forget password" thing from Apple but the email to reset his password never comes to his old company account (which is being forwarded to another company email). What do I need to do to get the iPad to forget his iCloud account? Every time I go to the Settings area, it just keeps asking me for his password and won't even let me log in under another account.
