Why doesn't Home Sharing work

The turn on Home Sharing screen in iTunes 11.1.3.8 will not take my password. I know the password works because I can sign into the iTunes Store account with it.

Windows 7, Pro 64 with 8 Gigs Ram Sony VAIO

I know the password works

Clearly it does't if the login is failing.

I had the same problem. I tried all kinds of things that I saw on this forum site. Finally, I unplugged my Apple TV, and once I plugged it back in, it worked.
