I downloaded Mavericks and now my email server is not working properly. Both my incoming and outgoing email server addresses changed after the download and I am not able to change them back. I have trouble sending email. My domain host was not able to help me as the email accounts internal and external information cannot be changed now.

Delete the account (back it up if it is a POP account)
Re-enter it using the correct servers.

Assuming this is a Gmail account, it should. But I have yet to see the type of account mentioned.
I personally prefer to make the extra step and go directly to use gmail from there server and utilize the mail from the web based server.
How do you know that the OP has a Gmail account, what am I missing?
