App store on my ipad air says "you can't use this apple ID, please sign in with another"? Why, there's nothing wrong with my account?

Don't worry your not the only one having issues with the iTunes Store.

having the same issue. Logging out from the Settings section doesn't allow me to log back in, either. Ugh.

I am having the same issue with adding a new ipad mini to my account. I've troubleshooted with simple items like hard reset, etc., but still having the same error message. Help!

OK...I think I have found a solution. In settings, select tunes & app store. Instead of signing in with an existing ID, act as if you are creating a new one itunes ID. Follow the steps up to the point where you create a new ID. (Basically, you need to agree to the itunes terms and conditions.) Do not create a new ID and cancel out of the set-up. Now that you've accepted the terms, it should let you sign on using your existing ID. Let me know if this works for anyone with the same issue.

Actually fixed it for me as well, at least I was able to log into ITunes on my computer.....

This ***** and I changed my password to try and fix it. Still does not work.
