ipod wont download apps?

so today i tried to download an app and every time i try, i get a message saying " this apple id cannot be used for the itunes store. Please enter another apple Id.

I dont know if i did anything wrong and they banned my account but my ipod isnt jailbroken and i dont ilegally download anything so i dont know why my account wouldnt work unless it got banned from downloading anything.

i dont have a computer to use so i cant check if it works on that.
