Games that r compatible with teh basic Mac mini?

What good popular games r compatible with teh Mac Mini? Teh one with teh Intel Core Solo Processor, and that won't run with any of that crappy lag. They have to be either Universal, or made for teh Intel.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

it's not that popular, but try N-Ball from www.ragdollsoft.com
Super Stealball and Ragdoll Masters are also fun, but nball has an editor, so you can make your own levels and download user created levels

If you have a Core Duo Mini, then you already have a very good processor. The 1.66 Ghz Core Duo ships in many laptops, even high-end ones. Although laptops are not exactly very good game machines (except for Dell's Inspiron XPS, Alienware & Voodoo laptops, and maybe a few others), a dual-core 1.66 Ghz Intel Core processor really isn't bad, and should compare well to a 2.8-3.2 Ghz Pentium 4 for most tasks (and outperform the P4 with thread-aware apps, thanks to its two cores). The Core Solo is not as fast but is still reasonably fast (it should be a bit faster than a similar, 1.5 Ghz Pentium M processor).

However, the Mini features a 2.5-inch, 5400 rpm laptop hard drive, and has Intel's GMA950 integrated graphics. If you want a better game machine, I suggest you get one with a dedicated graphics card, and a desktop drive (3.5", 7200 rpm) would also improve performance.

If you have the stock 512 MB of RAM, then you will probably notice a significant difference in speed if you upgrade to 1 or 2 GB, especially with intensive applications like games. However, integrated graphics will probably remain the great weakness of the Intel Minis & MacBooks when it comes to gaming.

If you want to play games, and can afford a better computer (and can still return the Mini - should be OK if bought within 14 days, although there may be a re-stocking fee), I advise you to get an iMac, whith 1 or 2 GB of RAM and the 256 MB graphics card option. This one should perform very well, and should also be able to run popular Windows games in Boot Camp ...

well, you haven't said if your mini is intel or not,
but the ones i mentioned are fairly basic, so they
will be fine if you go for those

It's an Intel 1.56GHz Core Solo, and yes, it has teh stock RAM, but I can upgrade it anyways with 2 1GB sticks of RAM. I just wished I could upgrade teh graphics card (can I?).

OK, but are there any big name-brand games like Halo or HL: 2 or anything that isn't some freeware gamem on teh internet with slightly good graphics but no storyline, plot, customizeability, FPS possibly? Like I said, I'm running UT2004 without a hitch, but are there just any other FPS's out there compatible with teh basic INTEL Mac mini that meet teh system requirements (screw teh graphics requirement, I'll just turn teh visual quality down a lot).

I think the "teh" stuff is old and outdated in the teenager hacker arena these days, along with all that garbled crap you used in your new screen name. If you were a real hacker, you wouldn't advertise it anyway. Get down with your l337 self...

Anywho the Mini isn't really a gaming machine just like a laptop wouldn't be. The mini is practically a laptop in a neat little case. While it's true some laptops can run with their desktop counterparts, they usually sport faster hard drives and a separate graphics solution rather than an integrated/outdated one.
