Synched a friend's Ipad with my computer - help!

I synched a friend's Mini-Ipad with MY Itunes in order to add some photo albums onto her Ipad mini. Before the sych I disabled all the other options - contacts, calendars, apps, etc....so that the only thing that would change would be that my pgotos from my Iphoto would be on her Ipad. Gave her back the Ipad.

Then - she went to synch it - and it is asking her for MY Apple password! Now I guess the Ipad mini thinks I am the owner!!???!!

How can I help her to have it recognize her own original computer and stop asling for my password. I realize she will lose all the photos I put on when she is able to synch her Ipad.....they will be overwritten. I will provide her with the photos on a flash stick so she can load them into her own IPhoto and then synch.

What does she have to do??

Thanks....Dorgal.

What do you mean by "reset all settings and content"??? ....in the "settings" app? What part of that menu do I use?

The idea was to transfer many high res photos to the Ipad for a marketing project......emailing these large files was not an option. Apple has to make everything more difficult......something they don't tll you when they sell you their product. Just sayin' .......

Do not erase all content and settings. At least don't do that to start.

Your friend should check in Settings>iTunes and App Store. See of your Apple ID is showing in there. If it is, sign out, and the. Have her sign in wither her own ID. She should be able to sync with her own computer again, but you are correct that all of the photos that you put on her iPad will be overwritten.

There are third party WiFi transfer apps that allow you to send photos from one device to another device or computer, or from a computer to an iOS device so you didn't have to sync her iPad with your Mac.

Another way to transfer photos. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.

Plug the USB flash drive (works the same with an SD card) into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).

Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)
