not allowed to write emails with maverick

When I try to write an email and choose and begin to write my message I get a box that says the system is unable to complete your request now code SCC-1905.

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

I went to apple support and downloaded the update for emails and ran it then restarted the computer and I can now write emails again Thanks Mr. Morgan.
