FATAL error
I keep getting FATAL:: unable to process your request please try again everytime we try to download a new app on all of our devices, I even changed our password. any ideas what I can do to fix

Same problem, seems like an issue on apples end, maybe their computers down at moment

Same thing is happening to me. Had to change password and now it isn't allowing me to log in on my mac, itunes, iphone...
Dont change your passwords. It has nothing to do with that. It is a server problem or the like. I had this problem lastnight on my new iPad Air trying to buy something in the app store. I waited a while and tryed again and then it worked. This morning I restored my iPad to factory default and set it up with my Apple ID and everything went well untill I tried to download all the free apps like iWorks. I got the FATAL::Unable message again. It is now 7:30 AM in NY and still having the problem. Obviusly my Apple ID is working as I loged in here on the forum with it. Hope they resplve this soon.
Same fatal error message here too. I first noticed it yesterday when I tried to update some apps. 😟
I must join the legion of unhappy campers as well. Brand new MacBook Air and I get the fatal error message when trying to download apps. No problem on my other macs. Just the new one running OS X 8.10.5.
Called AppleCare at 8am est today, they stated it is now a known widespread problem server issue on their end and are now working on this problem, however are not able to provide a time when it will be fixed, but they assured me the problem was not with me but on their end

Tell me what good is the apple systems status page http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ if it doesn't even reflect that there are issues!?!
when I spoke to them, they had no idea that this was an issue and said that I had to wait until tech support opened up (I thought that was who I was talking to...), anyway, they have me 5 free song credits for my trouble. That was nice.
Same issue. Can update apps abut anything requiring password to download receives fatal error. Maybe the afternoon (MST) they'll have a fix for us.
Ditto here. Just tried downloading a song from the Itunes Radio and got this fatal error message. Changed my password and still getting it. Hopefully this is resolved soon.

Yes.. I'm having the same issue... I, unfortunately, changed my password a few times before I found all of you complaining of the same problem. Those of you who spoke to tech support, did they say when it would be fixed? or a ball park time frame? I need to download a program for a job I'm working on - kind of critical that the App Store works!
Wish I could temporarily disable the password requirement while this is an issue.
