Dec 4, 2013 11:01 PM in response to alfiehollowayby mende1,It is OK. Open a Finder window, select your external drive in the sidebar and go to Backups.backupdb > your computer's name, where you will be able to delete the backups you wish.
See > http://pondini.org/TM/12.html There are other ways to remove backups. Also, Time Machine is designed to delete old backups automatically when your external drive is full

yeah I know it's suposed to but it's saying it is full.
I don't use it for anything else so I don't know why it's not managing itself.
